This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Strong winds are expected in the east Tennessee mountains and
adjacent foothills today and tonight. Also expect to see some
windy conditions across the remainder of the area. A Wind Advisory
has been extended to include the remaining areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Strong winds will continue into Wednesday as a sharp cold front
pushes across the area. Winds ahead of the front will be strong
area wide but especially in the terrain. A line of showers and
storms will also progress along the frontal boundary, some of
which could be strong to severe. Isolated damaging wind gusts are
the main concern. Winds will then gradually subside into the
evening after the front swings through.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Anderson, Bledsoe, Campbell, Marion, Morgan, Scott TN, and
  Sequatchie Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST /noon CST/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
