This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Light snow accumulations are expected late this afternoon and
overnight in the East Tennessee mountains and higher elevations of
southwest Virginia. A dusting to about 1 inch is expected in
higher elevations of southwest Virginia. 1 to 3 inches are
possible across the East Tennessee mountains from Roan Mountain
southward with isolated higher totals in the highest peaks above
5000 feet. Please see Winter Weather Advisory or the Special

Gusty winds tonight will also bring wind chill temperatures down
below freezing starting this evening and continue into the early
morning hours Friday.
