A few storms could become strong to severe with isolated damaging winds being the primary hazard along with a very low risk of an isolated tornado. A few strong to severe storms will once again possible Thursday night, mainly over the northern Cumberland Plateau and across southwest VA and northeast TN. Damaging winds is the main threat, along with a very low risk of an isolated tornado. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A wet pattern is expected through early next week. Some flooding issues will be possible particularly Monday through Wednesday when 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected areawide. Strong southerly winds Saturday night will bring downslope wind enhancement to the higher elevations and foothills of the East Tennessee Mountains.
