Minor ice accumulations are also possible across the extreme northeast TN mountains that boarder NC. If freezing rain occurs, ice amounts of 0.1" or less are expected. Minor impacts are possible through Tuesday morning, use caution while driving A wet pattern with multiple rounds of moderate to possibly heavy rain are expected next week. Flooding issues are becoming increasingly likely. Total rainfall between 5 to 7 inches is expected across the majority of the area. Isolated amounts over 8 inches are possible. Lower rainfall amounts from 3 to 5 inches are currently expected across northeast TN and southwest VA. The potential exists for a significant flooding event as we move through the long term. Stream and river flooding, flooded roadways, as well as mud and rock slides are all possible. Please stay tuned to the latest forecast as rainfall amounts will continue to be adjusted as we get closer to and move through the upcoming week. Additionally, high winds are possible on Saturday and Sunday across the east TN, southwest VA, NC mountains. If we receive the stronger winds this could exacerbate issues due to saturated grounds, leading to higher probabilities of downed trees and power outages. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
