* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Mississippi County in eastern Arkansas...
  Tipton County in western Tennessee...
  Crockett County in western Tennessee...
  Southern Dyer County in western Tennessee...
  Southwestern Gibson County in western Tennessee...
  Lauderdale County in western Tennessee...
  Haywood County in western Tennessee...
  North central Shelby County in western Tennessee...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 740 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Unionville to near Millington, moving east at
  65 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Dyersburg, Brownsville, Covington, Ripley, Trenton, Munford,
  Brighton, Alamo, Bells, Halls, Chestnut Bluff, Unionville,
  Dancyville, Ft Pillow, Nutbush, Forked Deer, Belle Eagle, Holly
  Grove, Tipton and Atoka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...and western Tennessee.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Memphis
* until Saturday April 11.
* At 7 PM Saturday the stage was 34.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 36.5 feet on Wednesday April 01.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Saturday March 28 and will
  continue rising to near 36.5 feet by Wednesday April 01.
* At 37.0 feet...In Arkansas, the grain terminal and other businesses
  by it south of West Memphis are being covered by water. At Memphis,
  the fuel facility south of the river gage is flooding.

  extending from near Meeman Shelby Forest State Park to Little
  Texas, moving east at 40 mph.

the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A tornado watch is in effect until 7PM CDT for all of eastern
Arkansas. Additional convective watches are possible downstream
later tonight.

Severe thunderstorms containing damaging winds, large
hail, and a few tornadoes are possible beginning early this
evening through approximately midnight for the entire Mid-South.
The greatest threat for severe thunderstorms will exist mainly
along and north of the I-40 corridor.
