...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WARNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Elk River near Prospect.
* WHEN...From early this morning to late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flooding is impacting agricultural areas
along the river across southeast Giles County. Water covers Veto
Rd near the Hargrove - Johnson bridge south of Route 273. It may
be unsafe to pass and motorists should seek an alternate route.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.7 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall out of action stage
later this evening.
- Action stage is 22.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
