...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
  areas, Bledsoe, Bradley, East Polk, Hamilton, Loudon, Marion,
  McMinn, Meigs, Morgan, Northwest Monroe, Rhea, Roane, Scott TN,
  Sequatchie, Southeast Monroe and West Polk.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Several rounds of thunderstorms will affect east Tennessee
    between Saturday morning and early Sunday morning. Widespread
    amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected, but locally higher
    amounts could occur. The heavy rainfall rates plus the
    potential for storms to affect an area multiple times,
    especially in the southern plateau and southern valley, means
    the risk of flooding is heightened.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
