Thunderstorms are possible across the central and western combined Panhandles this afternoon through this evening. Some storms may become severe, with damaging wind gusts and large hail being the primary hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Thunderstorms may be possible each afternoon through the evening across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles from Wednesday through Monday. Storms will have the potential to become severe on some of these days. Very hot temperatures are forecast for Wednesday, especially for portions of the Canadian River Valley and Palo Duro Canyon. An Extreme Heat Watch has been issued for Palo Duro Canyon due to the potential for dangerously hot temperatures during the afternoon. Heat illnesses may occur given the very hot temperatures. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time. $$
