The combination of warm temperatures, very low relative humidity, and southwesterly winds will result in the development of critical fire weather conditions across the Caprock today. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the Caprock Escarpment between noon and 9 PM CDT. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect for the Rolling Plains between noon and 9 PM CDT, where elevated fire weather conditions are expected today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Locally elevated fire weather conditions are expected on Sunday. A chance of thunderstorms will exist from Wednesday through Friday. $$
