Through 7PM...

Thunderstorms are ongoing across the region as of 5pm. These
storms will hover near severe criteria with winds up to 55 mph,
hail up to nickels or possibly higher, and torrential downpours.
With slow moving storm motions, rainfall accumulations of 1-2
inches with localized flooding near the heavier storms is
possible. These sporadic storms will continue through late
evening.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall. Storms have moved
  out of the area, however residual runoff will persist through
  mid-evening.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
  county, Lubbock.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 542 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lubbock, Wolfforth, Shallowater, Texas Tech University,
    Downtown Lubbock, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Lubbock
    International Airport, Reese Center, Buffalo Springs and
    Lubbock Science Spectrum.

Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

Isolated thunderstorms are expected across the area this afternoon
through evening. Locally heavy rainfall will be the primary hazard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
