...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 2 PM CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...North winds near 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* WHERE...North and parts of Central Texas.

* WHEN...From 5 AM to 2 PM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Unsecured outdoor items may be blown around in the
  wind. Driving on area roadways may become difficult,
  especially for high-profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 20 to
30 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Boaters should
use extra caution when venturing onto area lakes.  Residents may
wish to take action to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and
other lightweight outdoor objects that may be blown around in the
strong winds.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Thunderstorms will be possible along a strong cold front tonight. A
few strong to severe storms with damaging winds and hail may occur
near and east of I-35.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Thunderstorm chances will linger across Central Texas Monday
morning. A few strong storms with hail and gusty winds will be
possible.

Following the passage of the cold front, strong north winds near
20-30 MPH with gusts near 45 MPH are expected. A Wind Advisory is in
effect for parts of North and Central Texas on Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
