This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Unseasonably hot temperatures are expected today, particularly across
the Big Country where the mercury may reach 105 degrees. The heat
will combine with low humidity and gusty winds to create an elevated
wildfire threat, primarily west of the I-35 corridor.

Low thunderstorm chances will return late tonight as a cold front
enters the region. Lightning will be the primary hazard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Thunderstorms may accompany a cold front as it moves through North
and Central Texas on Tuesday. Gusty winds will be possible, but
severe weather is not anticipated.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
