...OZONE ACTION DAY...

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued
an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area for Tuesday,
September 10, 2024.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone air pollution in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
on Tuesday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a
ride, walking, riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work,
avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your
vehicle properly tuned.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
An isolated storm or two will be possible late tonight across East
Texas. Severe weather is not expected. Lightning will be the main
threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Thunderstorm chances will continue through the day on Wednesday
generally along and east of I-35. Severe weather is not anticipated,
but the strongest storms could contain gusty winds and heavy
rainfall.

Isolated storms will be possible Monday afternoon, however, severe
weather is not anticipated.
