This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Afternoon heat index values will top 100 degrees across much of the
region today.

Thunderstorms will be possible across portions the Red River this
morning. Gusty outflow winds are possible, along with isolated
lightning strikes. In addition, thunderstorms may approach far
western portions of North Texas early this evening. Lightning and
gusty winds will be the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Peak heat index values will exceed 100 degrees again on Monday

Thunderstorm chances will return on Saturday.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
