This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible across portions of
central and north central Louisiana, and Deep East Texas through this
afternoon and through tonight. This is in advance of Tropical Storm
Francine located in the southwest Gulf of Mexico. Though severe
weather is not expected, gusty winds and lightning may accompany any
storms that develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Rain will increase in coverage across the Four State Region
Wednesday into Thursday as Tropical Storm Francine makes landfall
along the Gulf Coast. Two to four inches of rainfall, which could be
heavy at times, will be possible across South Central Arkansas and
much of Northeast and North Central Louisiana. This may result in a
threat for flooding. In addition, gusty winds will be possible, and a
couple of tornadoes cannot be ruled out, especially northeast and
east of the center of Francine. The hazardous weather threat from
Francine should end Thursday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
