This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Louisiana,
northwest Louisiana and east Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible across portions of
the region on Wednesday, continuing through late Thursday into
Thursday Night as a series of disturbances moves our way. Damaging
wind gusts and large hail appear to be the main threats.

Small thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast for the upcoming
Memorial Holiday Weekend with hot temperatures as well during the
afternoon. Heat indices both Saturday and Sunday will likely reach
the triple digits across most areas. A cold front should move through
the region on Memorial Day or Monday Night, bringing with it
additional thunderstorm chances.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Angelina River Near Lufkin affecting Nacogdoches, Cherokee and
  Angelina Counties.

For the Angelina River...including Alto, Lufkin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 165.0 feet, Expect flooding to continue for several
  days with the majority of the gravel access roadway flooded.
  Boaters and four wheel-operators should use caution traversing
  both upstream and downstream on the Angelina River as currents can
  become swift and turbulent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 163.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 158.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:15 PM CDT Tuesday was 164.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 162.6 feet Sunday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 161.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.

For the Attoyac Bayou...including Chireno...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Attoyac Bayou near Chireno.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooded paths and secondary
  roadways.  Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Friday afternoon and continue falling to 13.4 feet
    Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.7 feet on 04/07/2017.
