This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas,
southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana,
southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will once again
impact portions of the Four State Region today. The greatest storm
coverage should be across the southern half of Northeast Texas into
portions of Northern Louisiana. Strong wind gusts, frequent cloud to
ground lightning and brief heavy downpours will accompany this
activity today. Look for storms to continue into the late evening and
overnight hours as well but storm intensity should peak during the
afternoon and early evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue
Saturday into Sunday across portions of the Four State Region before
we lose the storm coverage and precipitation altogether for most of
the region through the upcoming work week. What will return is the
intense heat with triple digit temperatures once again in the
forecast through much of next week and very high heat indices between
105 and 109 degrees. Heat Advisories will likely be necessary across
portions of the Four State Region through much of the upcoming work

Activation of emergency management personnel, amateur radio
operators, and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.
