This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for South-Central Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

Afternoon heat index values will again range from 102 to 108
today. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade or air
conditioning. Limit strenuous outdoor activities and check up on
the elderly, sick, and those without air conditioning. NEVER leave
kids, pets, or disabled adults in unattended vehicles.

The combination of hot afternoon temperature, dry fuels, and
breezy conditions will lead to elevated fire weather conditions
this afternoon, especially across Val Verde County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Afternoon heat index values will continue to run above 100 degrees
each afternoon so proper heat safety precautions should still be
