The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Bandera County in south central Texas...
  West Central Kerr County in south central Texas...
  Eastern Real County in south central Texas...
  North Central Uvalde County in south central Texas...

* Until 830 AM CDT.

* At 522 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
  1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
  already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Leakey, Tuff, Lost Maples State Natural Area, Rio Frio, Garner
  State Park and Concan.

Nearly 5 inches of rain has fallen at Garner State Park TDWB gauge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Bandera, Kerr and Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 354 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ingram, Sabinal, Hunt, Utopia, Kerr Wildlife Management Area,
    Waltonia and Mountain Home.

a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Guadalupe River at Hunt affecting Kerr County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Guadalupe River at Hunt.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding puts a few feet
  of water over the Highway 39 bridge near Hunt. Numerous secondary
  roads and bridges are flooded and very dangerous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:20 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 8.4 feet early this
    morning. It will then rise above flood stage early this
    morning to 14.6 feet late this morning. It will fall below
    flood stage late this afternoon to 8.3 feet late tonight. It
    will then rise to 8.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will fall
    again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.9 feet on 10/09/2018.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Locally heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding across
  portions of south central Texas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
  with isolated amounts of 3 to 5 inches are possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  counties, Bandera, Blanco, Burnet, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall,
  Kerr, Kinney, Llano, Real, Travis, Uvalde, Val Verde and
  Williamson.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Many rivers are already running high and fast and would respond
  quickly to the quick heavy downpours.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
