At 258 AM CDT, Rain gauge along Highway 90 near Cline has pick up 3.49 inches of rain in the last three hours. Intense rains continue to push to the north across northwest Uvalde into southern Real county. These heavy rains could quickly turn into runoff and flooding could be imminent or occurring over roadways, poor drainage and low lying areas and low water crossings. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route over higher ground. To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An upper level disturbance along the Rio Grande in combination with abundant tropical moisture are likely to bring another round of heavy rain across parts of the Rio Grande, southern Edwards Plateau, and Hill Country. Rain rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour could lead to flooding over areas affected by last night heavy rains that lasted through about noon on Monday.
