Including the cities of Georgetown, San Marcos, Austin, Bastrop,
Giddings, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, Lockhart,
La Grange, Pleasanton, Floresville, Karnes City, Gonzales, Cuero,
and Hallettsville

...Elevated Heat Stress Conditions for areas along and east of the
I35/37 corridor.

Afternoon heat, combined with high humidity near the ground, will
produce elevated heat stress across the area. The highest
afternoon Heat Index values will range from 102 to 108 today.

The usual guidelines of limiting time outdoors, staying hydrated,
and wearing light-colored, loose fitting clothes will help limit
the affects of the heat. The main risk times will be from Noon to
7 PM.

.DAY ONE...Today And Tonight.

A strong storm or two is possible across the Edwards Plateau
today. Strong winds or small hail would be the main hazards.

Otherwise, afternoon heat index values will range from 102-108 for
areas east of the I35/37 corridor.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
