A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for Fayette, Gonzales, Karnes, DeWitt, and Lavaca Counties through 9 AM this morning. Visibility is reduced to 1/4 mile less in areas of dense fog across this region. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. An early season round of hot temperatures is expected over the weekend and into next week. Those spending extended time outdoors and not acclimated to the heat could be susceptible to heat related illness if not taking proper heat precautions, such as drinking plenty of water and taking frequent breaks out of the sun and heat.
