This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A general decrease in shower and thunderstorm coverage is anticipated
for much of the area as the day progresses. Little to no severe weather
is expected.

There is expected to be an elevated risk of rip currents along area
beaches, especially this morning. Swim near a lifeguard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A drying and warming trend can be expected for the middle to end of
the week. Heat index values might get high enough to increase heat
related illnesses, and precautions should be taken to protect against
the heat.

It is possible that the risk of rip current could become elevated once
again toward the middle to end of the week. Even if the risk does not
develop, always swim near a lifeguard.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
