This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to
affect parts of the area into this evening. No severe
thunderstorms are expected. Stronger thunderstorms will be capable
of locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and strong and
gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Isolated to scattered mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms
are possible again on Monday, with the greatest coverage expected
over east and south central Louisiana. No severe thunderstorms
are expected, though stronger thunderstorms will be capable of
locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and strong and gusty
winds.

Warmer and drier weather is expected for the rest of the week and
into the weekend as deep layer high pressure builds over the
area. While isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible some
afternoons, no severe thunderstorms are expected.

Afternoon high temperatures from mid to late week in the lower to
mid 90s, combined with high relative humidity values, will yield
apparent temperatures in the 100 to 105 degree range.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
