There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms today and tonight across the area with the main threat being hail followed by wind damage and an isolated tornado is possible. In addition...moderate to occasional heavy rain could cause some isolated flooding of low lying areas. When thunderstorms roar...stay indoors! Increased cloud to ground lightning can be expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. The threat of localized flooding is an ongoing concern across the extreme eastern part of central and south central Louisiana Wednesday and Wednesday night with lingering rains through Friday.
