Portland, Ingleside, Bayside, Austwell, Magnolia Beach,

The combination of warm temperatures and high dewpoints will
produce heat indices between 105 and 109 degrees today.  Residents
with outdoor activities planned are urged to drink plenty of water,
wear light weight and light colored clothing and take frequent breaks
from the heat.  Young children and pets should never be left
unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. This is especially
true during warm or hot weather when car interiors can reach lethal
temperatures in a matter of minutes.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible today and

Maximum Heat Index values are expected to range from 102 to 109,
with some locations briefly reaching 110.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Maximum Heat Index values are expected to range from 102 to 109
through the weekend and into next week. Maximum heat index values
may briefly reach 110 across the portions of South Texas through the
weekend. Heat Advisories will be possible Monday through Thursday,
especially across the southern Coastal Bend as heat index values
rise to between 110 to 114 degrees.
