This hazardous weather outlook is for South Texas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Elevated fire weather conditions today during the afternoon over
areas generally west of US Highway 281.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Thursday and Friday
during the afternoon, mainly across the Brush Country and Rio
Grande Plains.

Heat index values of 105+ degrees expected Thursday and Friday
afternoons over the inland Coastal Bend and Brush Country, with
values of 110+ possible Saturday.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Sunday into mid-week next week
across South Texas.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
