This hazardous weather outlook is for South Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a moderate risk of rip currents today.

Heat index values will top out between 105 to 109 degrees this
afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Thunderstorms are possible Sunday evening through Tuesday across
South Texas. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the Coastal
Plains Wednesday afternoon.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents on Saturday.

Afternoon heat indices between 105 and 109 degrees, with isolated
values around 110 degrees, can be expected Saturday through Sunday
mainly over inland portions of South Texas.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Mission River At Refugio affecting Refugio County

  Copano Creek Near Refugio affecting Aransas and Refugio Counties

.Recent or anticipated rainfall over the area will keep the
 aforementioned rivers above flood stage for the next few days.
 These river forecasts are based on forecast rainfall over the
 area, and are subject to change with rainfall forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, local TV and radio
stations, or cable TV outlets, for the latest weather
information, as additional rainfall could affect crest
forecasts.

...Flood Warning extended until further notice...The Flood Warning
   continues for the Copano Creek Near Refugio.
* Until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Friday the stage was 14.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast: The creek will continue a slow fall to below moderate
  flood stage by Saturday afternoon, but will remain above minor flood
  levels for the next few days.
* At 16.0 feet Moderate lowland flooding occurs. The river rises to
  low steel of the Farm to Market 774 bridge.
