This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Deep South

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Marginal elevated fire weather conditions will exist across portions
of Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks and Starr counties through 7 PM tonight.

There is moderate risk of rip currents at area beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There will an elevated risk of rip currents at local beaches Sunday
through Tuesday.

A Wind Advisory is possible for the Lower Rio Grande Valley Sunday
afternoon with some wind gusts reach up to 35 to 40 mph.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible from Tuesday night through
Thursday. Some of the thunderstorms will support very heavy
rainfall, strong wind gusts and potential hail.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
