This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west central Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered showers and rain mixed today as a cold front pushes into
the coastal waters. Temperatures are expected to climb into the lower
50s inland while the beaches will see temperatures near 60. Rains
will continue into tonight as interior Louisiana and the lakes region
will see lower 40s towards sunrise and near 50 down along the coast.
Rainfall totals will range from one to two inches inland with lesser
amounts down towards the coast.

Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers and rain on Thursday ahead of a Canadian airmass that will
push down into the region late Thursday. Rains will finally end
behind this cold front as much colder and drier air spill into the
region. Rainfall totals of a half inch will be possible Thursday.

Dry conditions expected Friday and Saturday with areas of frost
expected across the region Friday and Saturday mornings. A light
freeze will be possible across parts of central Louisiana both

Precipitation chances return late Sunday into Monday as another
disturbance and cold front approaches and pushes through the area.

Severe weather is not expected.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
