.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Minor coastal flooding is expected during the times of high tide.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Thursday then
becoming likely by Thursday night into Friday morning. Isolated
thunderstorms may continue through Friday evening.

Minor coastal flooding is expected during the times of high tide
daily.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.

...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WILL CONTINUE SOUTH OF PORT ARANSAS
THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

.Above normal astronomical tides, with levels near 1.5 feet above
expected, will result in coastal flooding during high tide
tonight through Thursday morning along the barrier islands from
Port Aransas south to Baffin Bay. This advisory includes the
adjacent bays and intracoastal waterways. Tide levels are
expected to exceed 2 feet Mean Sea Level, or at least 1 foot of
inundation, near the times of high tide. Water is expected to
reach into the dunes and limit access to beach roads.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT
THURSDAY...

* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding during times of high
  tide.

* TIMING...Coastal flooding during times of high tide. The next
  high tide at Bob Hall Pier is at 134 AM and 1116 AM Thursday.
  High tide at Port Aransas is 241 AM and 1134 AM Thursday. High
  tide at Packery Channel is at 1024 AM Thursday. High tide at
  Nueces Bay is at 403 PM Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected in low areas
  around bays and coastal waterways. Some roads may become
  impassable.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
