This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
New Mexico, southwest New Mexico, and southwest Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

An isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible this evening
across the lowlands. Otherwise, most areas will remain dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday will be very similar to today with a slight increase in
shower and thunderstorm coverage. Moisture will increase through
the weekend and into next week with scattered to numerous shower
and thunderstorm coverage. Heavy rain and flash flooding will be a
threat on Saturday through at least Tuesday.

...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 9 PM MDT FRIDAY...

The Texas Department of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued an
Ozone Action Day for the El Paso Area, until 9 PM MDT this evening
and for Friday from 8 AM through 9 PM.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the El Paso area. You can help
prevent ozone Pollution by sharing a ride, walking, riding a
bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding drive through lanes,
conserving energy and keeping your vehicle properly tuned.
