This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A cold front will cross the northern and central outlook area
today bringing showers and another round of cooler temperatures to
the north. Several inches of new snow is possible across the
northern mountains above 8000 feet.

Locally strong gusty southwest winds will continue today south of
the front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Gusty southwest winds will pick up again on Wednesday and spread
across most of the outlook area.

A strong cold front will move slowly across the outlook area
Wednesday night through Friday morning. This system will bring
widespread valley rain and mountain snow to the northern and
western outlook area with significant new snowfall in the northern
and central mountains.

Locally strong southwest winds will develop ahead of the front on
Thursday across the south and east.

Cool unsettled weather is expected Friday through the weekend.
