This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A storm system will advance into Utah from the Pacific Northwest
tonight. An associated cold front will reach northern Utah late
this afternoon, then sweep south into southern Utah late tonight.

Precipitation, mostly as snow, will develop this evening and
continue through the overnight hours. Accumulating snows are
expected across the northern and central mountains, with minimal
accumulations for the northern valley locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Lingering showers across central and southern Utah Thursday will
end Thursday evening. Gusty northeasterly canyons winds will
develop behind the cold front through extreme southwest Utah on
Thursday, with these winds continuing into at least early Friday.

High pressure aloft will expand east across the area this weekend.
This high pressure will bring dry conditions and seasonal
temperatures through early next week.


Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
