This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Hot temperatures are expected this afternoon across southern Utah.

Gusty winds and low humidities will bring the threat of critical
fire weather conditions to south central and southeast Utah
through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Very hot temperatures will bring excessive heat to portions of
southern Utah Saturday afternoon through Monday evening. These
areas include the St. George area, Zion National Park, the Lake
Powell area and the San Rafael Swell. Daytime temperatures
exceeding 105-110F will be common in these areas with poor
nighttime recoveries. Heat at this level will impact all
populations, even those usually not susceptible to heat.

Critical fire weather conditions will be possible Sunday into
early next week across southern Utah.


Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
