This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot temperatures will continue across the outlook area through
the early evening hours. Widespread triple-digit temperatures
are expected across many valley locations, especially over
southern Utah.

An approaching dry cold front will generate sufficiently strong
winds and low humidity values for critical fire weather conditions
across southern Utah and the northern Wasatch mountain range
through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Temperatures will drop back to early August norms behind a dry
cold front Tuesday. Increasing southerly flow aloft beginning
Wednesday will push temperature above normal across the outlook
area midweek.

Hazardous fire weather conditions could return to western Utah as
early as Wednesday afternoon. The combination of gusty winds and
low humidity will likely expand across southern and northwest
Utah during the latter half of the week.

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
