...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 9 PM MDT
THURSDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 488 AND 489...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 488 Manti National Forest
  and Fire Weather Zone 489 San Rafael Swell.

* WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph this
  afternoon and evening, and again Thursday afternoon and evening.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 5 to 10 percent with poor
  overnight recovery.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
  fire starts will spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Utah and southwest Wyoming.

Critical fire weather conditions will develop this afternoon
through this evening across much of southern and central Utah due
to a combination of winds and low humidity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Critical fire weather conditions will develop across much of the
state on Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening due to a
combination of winds and low humidity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
