This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected today and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Gusty south winds are expected Friday afternoon and evening. This
may bring another round of critical fire weather conditions where
fuels are cured.

Strong thunderstorms are possible late Friday afternoon and
evening and into Saturday. The main threats are expected to be
small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain.

A cold front on Sunday will bring significantly cooler
temperatures for the early part of next week. Precipitation
should develop across northern Utah behind the front, with snow
possible in the higher valleys such as the Bear River Valley,
southwest Wyoming, and portions of the Wasatch Back Sunday night
and Monday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.

  Henry Mountains and Fire Weather Zone 498 Grand Staircase.

* WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph possible.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As lows as 10-15 percent possible.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are possible. Any
  fire starts could spread rapidly.

A Fire Weather Watch means that there is a potential for critical
fire weather conditions. Continue to monitor for the latest
