This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Hazardous fire weather conditions from increasing south winds and
low humidity values will return to the southern half of the
outlook area for Wednesday afternoon, then spread into portions of
northeast Utah Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.

THURSDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 495...496...497 AND 498...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 495 Color Country West
  Desert...Fire Weather Zone 496 Color Country Mountains...Fire
  Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert and Fire Weather Zone 498 Grand
  Staircase.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph this
  afternoon and evening, and again Thursday afternoon and evening.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values of 6 to 10 percent with poor
  overnight recovery.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
  fire starts will spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...poor nighttime humidity
recovery and hot temperatures can contribute to extreme fire
behavior.
