This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Clouds increase, thicken and lower through the day today ahead of
a fast-moving disturbance that will bring light valley rain and
mountain snow tonight into Sunday morning. Snow will favor the
central and northern mountains of Colorado where 2-5 inches
are expected. Snow-covered roads and slow travel are likely in
the high mountain passes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Dry weather returns Sunday afternoon and continues into Monday.
Deep southwest flow ahead of a large, moisture-laden Pacific
storm will lead to strong winds and the potential for gusts to
exceed 40 mph Monday afternoon. This strong storm will sweep
across the region Monday night into Tuesday, bringing widespread
valley rain, accumulating mountain snow and cooler temperatures.
Dry and milder weather returns for the latter half of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
