This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Utah...
northern Utah...southern Utah...southwest Utah and southwest
Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very hot conditions will continue through tonight across much of
the region.

Critical fire weather conditions will continue across portions of
northern and eastern Utah through tonight due to gusty winds
and low humidity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Very hot conditions will continue across southern Utah through the
weekend.

High-based thunderstorms will bring the threat of lightning, gusty
and erratic winds and increased fire weather danger to much of the
state Friday.  This will continue into Saturday.  Gusty winds and
low humidity over the weekend will enhance the fire weather threat
further.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all local,
state, and CDC guidelines.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT SUNDAY FOR
STRONG WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY, AND SCATTERED DRY THUNDERSTORMS FOR
FIRE WEATHER ZONES 479, 480, 481, AND 488...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 479 Wasatch Mountains, Fire
  Weather Zone 480 Uinta Mountains, Fire Weather Zone 481
  Western Ashley National Forest and Fire Weather Zone 488 Manti
  National Forest.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph Saturday and
  Sunday. Winds are expected to be lighter Friday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated to scattered dry thunderstorms are
  expected to develop Friday afternoon and evening and redevelop
  Saturday afternoon and evening.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty and erratic winds are possible near any
  near any showers or thunderstorms.

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
  new fire starts could spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or are imminent. A combination of
lightning, dry fuel conditions and gusty microburst winds as well
as low humidity will create favorable conditions for new fire
starts and extreme fire behavior.
