...HARD FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM
MDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures at or below 28 degrees are
  expected.

* WHERE...Cache Valley/Utah Portion and Southwest Utah. The main
  areas impacted will be in normally cold areas near the Bear
  River in the Cache Valley and outlying areas of southwest Utah,
  especially near Enterprise. Widespread frost is expected in the
  Cache Valley, even in areas that remain above 28F.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Unseasonably cold airmass will drop
temperatures Monday and Tuesday 10 to 15 degrees below normal.

A hard freeze is expected late Monday night into Tuesday morning
across the Bear River Valley, the Wasatch Back, Sanpete Valley,
and Sevier River Valleys. Additional hard freezes may be possible
in the Cache Valley and portions of Iron County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

No hazardous weather is expected Tuesday through Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information
about observed severe weather to the NWS while following all
local, state, and CDC guidelines.
