See Red Flag Warnings and the Fire Danger Statement that are in effect into early this evening. Strong gusty winds can be expected this afternoon into tonight, especially some of the higher elevations of the mountains. See the Wind Advisory that is in effect for parts of the Southern Appalachians. Showers and a few thunderstorms will move in tonight, and there is a low threat of a few strong to severe storms, primarily over and near our Plateau counties.
