This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Wind Advisory Criteria may be met across a few of the highest east
TN mountain tops today, where gusts to 40 mph are expected. Most
areas will stay sub 40 mph so no Wind Advisory planned at this
time. All valley locations will see gusts between 20 and 30 mph
from late morning through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

High winds will be possible across the mountains and foothills
this weekend, especially on Sunday.

Severe thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday and Sunday night.
There is currently a 15 percent chance of severe thunderstorms
within a 25 mile radius on Sunday and Sunday night with the
primary risk being for damaging winds. Follow updates throughout
the week.
