Isolated to scattered storms are expected through this evening with the greatest coverage along and north of interstate 40. Strong and gusty winds up 50 mph and localized flash flooding possible with the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Heat index values will continue reach into the upper 90s to lower 100s most days across many Valley locations through early next week. An increase in heat indices to 105 degrees is possible for the latter half of next week.
