...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM EDT
THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest and west
  central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to 6 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Branches and limbs broken, but not
  fallen, from recent high winds could easily dislodge from
  trees with the latest round of very gusty winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Virginia, south
central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and
southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

 Wind Advisory.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Widespread heavy rainfall could lead to flooding Sunday afternoon
and Sunday night. A Flood Watch may be needed for this time frame
with later forecasts.

Strong and gusty west to northwest winds are expected Monday night
and Tuesday. A Wind Advisory may be needed for this time frame with
later forecasts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation to address flooding issues may be needed Sunday
and Sunday night.
