This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
central Virginia, south central Virginia, southwest Virginia, west
central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday and Wednesday in advance
of a cold front which is expected to move through the region
Thursday. There is a marginal threat of severe thunderstorms Tuesday
and Wednesday, mainly during the afternoon and evening each day. The
main threat from any strong to severe thunderstorms will be quarter-
sized or larger hail and damaging wind gusts.


Limited spotter activation may be needed Tuesday afternoon and
evening and then again Wednesday afternoon and evening.
