* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Shenandoah County in northwestern Virginia...
  Southwestern Frederick County in northwestern Virginia...
  Northwestern Rockingham County in western Virginia...
  Northeastern Pendleton County in eastern West Virginia...
  Southeastern Grant County in eastern West Virginia...
  Hardy County in eastern West Virginia...
  Southern Hampshire County in eastern West Virginia...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 420 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Moorefield to 8 miles east of Petersburg to 6
  miles east of Rough Run to 9 miles east of Upper Tract, moving
  northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bean Settlement, Yellow Spring, Moorefield, Perry, Lost City, Lost
  River, Delray, Fisher, Baker, Kirby, Brake, Capon Springs,
  Mccauley, Augusta, Gravel Springs, Old Fields, Frenchburg, Mathias,
  Wardensville, and Star Tannery.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging wind gusts are possible this afternoon. A tornado or two
is also possible. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 7 PM along
and west of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountains.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM this evening across
all areas. Elsewhere, gusty winds to around 45 mph are possible
outside of thunderstorms today, which may result in a few downed
trees, branches, and power lines.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
