...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations of a light
  glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of northern and northwest Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are
  possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
  commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the northern Shenadoah
River Valley, the eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, northern
and central Maryland and parts of northern Virginia this morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a slight winter storm threat for Sunday and Sunday night.
If the threat materializes, it may cause travel disruptions.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are asked to report winter weather via standard operating
procedures.
