This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, southwest Virginia and west central
Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A storm system will bring widespread rainfall Thursday through
Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall amounts may result in flooding.

...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Virginia and
  north central and northwest North Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Leaves still on many trees will allow for
  trees to be more easily blown down.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
